As well as providing high throughput routine testing, Analytica has the staff and equipment to provide unique solutions that those involved in research and product development need to make their projects a success. From design of experiments, to development of methods on our wide range of analytical testing equipment, we are ready to listen to what you are wanting to achieve and provide you with a proposal that will meet your needs. Our speciality areas are metabolomics and proteomics.
From 1 April 2019 a new ‘Research and Development Tax Incentive’ scheme has come into effect in New Zealand. Analytica is an Approved Research Provider under this scheme. This means that you may be able to claim a 15% credit from the IRD for services we provide to you, if they are part of R&D projects you are undertaking.
An overview of the R&D Tax Incentive Scheme is available at this website: MBIE Research and Development Tax Incentive
Most NZ Businesses May Be Eligible For The Tax Credits
There are some specific criteria which need to be met for you to qualify for the credit. It’s important that you talk with us about your project in advance, so we can do our best to help make sure that the investment you make with us will be eligible for the scheme. The following link will take you to an IRD web page that talks about who is eligible to apply for the tax credits: Eligible entity criteria, and core R&D activity and fixed establishment in New Zealand
Ask Your Accountant Or Tax Adviser For Help
As the scheme is a tax credit, you should talk with your accountant or tax adviser about how best to apply for it. Unfortunately Analytica is not a tax adviser, so we can’t provide you with this specific information.
There is a lot of good information on the IRD website: Research and Development Tax Incentive guidance
