This testing provides information about drug residues from residential and commercial properties, and vehicles. Sellers & purchasers of property use test results when agreeing on property value. Landlords and their tenants use results to confirm that rented property is safe to live in, and that drugs have not been used during a tenancy.
Analytica tests for methamphetamine and 3 related compounds (amphetamine, ephedrine, and pseudoephedrine). We follow the NZS 8510-2017 standard, and supply sampling equipment needed to meet the requirements of this standard. The testing is ISO 17025 accredited by IANZ, which means that it is independently audited to provide results that can be trusted. Testing follows the internationally recognised NIOSH 9111 method.
Analytica offers 4 types of testing:
- Discrete analysis – analysis of individual (discrete) wipes, with a detection limit of 0.02 ug/sample
- Lab Composite Analysis of Discrete Samples – individual wipes are prepared separately at the lab, but initially are tested as a single composite of up to 10 samples. Sample extracts are retained, and can be tested individually (on request) if the composite analysis result is high. The detection limit is 0.02 ug/composite sample.
- Field Composite Analysis – up to 5 wipes are placed in a single sample tube for analysis, and the result represents the total of all wipes in the composite. Detection limit of 0.04 ug/sample.
- Lab Composite Analysis of Field Composite Samples – individual field composite samples are prepared separately at the lab, but initially are tested as a single composite of up to 2 samples (10 swabs in total). Sample extracts are retained, and can be tested individually (on request) if the composite analysis result is high. The detection limit is 0.04 ug/composite sample.
Retail pricing is based on casual or low volume sample submission. For those regularly submitting samples for methamphetamine analysis, please contact us to discuss the pricing and services we offer that reflect your business scale. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to make an enquiry.
